The Cleo Whip are a North London based band who have been gigging with this lineup since summer 2005. They have enjoyed being playlisted in Artrocker and on Earwax Radio. Musical comparisons have been made with the likes of Stereolab, The Strokes, Pixies and Le Tigre. Through gigs in London, including support slots with The Subways, Comanechi and Damn Arms, they have built up a loyal following for their shows, playing venues such as Metro, Buffalo Bar, The Betsey Trotwood, the Old Blue Last, The Luminaire and Bush Hall. Collaborations have included Simon Bookish
(Franz Ferdinand/The Organ/Grizzly Bear remixer), and their demo was produced by Big Nurse, regular contributors to The Remix on XFM.
